The prime minister said that this was important as the Supreme court had issued certain directions on the issue.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was interacting with booth karyakartas via video conferencing at Margao.

He brought up the mining issue on his own and stressed that the central government is putting in a lot of effort to restart mining.

He said that the Central government along with two Goa MP's are following this up constantly. Talks are going with the experts to find a legal solution on the issue, he said.
