Cortalim Vendors still waiting to shift into the new market complex

The inauguration of the Cortalim new market complex took place six months ago, but the GSIDC still hasn't handed it over to the panchayat. Ironically even before the market was used it has already begun leaking.

The inauguration of the new market complex took place in January. But local vendors have still not been allowed to move into the new complex.

The reason - GSIDC has to renew the occupancy that expired 2 years ago. Though the new place is ready, the panchayat is still paying rent for the one they're currently in.

The panchayat is also concerned about the maintenance of the new market complex as it has already begun leaking.
