Bicholim bus stand, a primary school in urgent need of repair

Bicholim chairperson Santish Gaonkar said that repairs work of Bicholim primary school and Kadamba bus stand would be undertaken soon. Both the buildings are unsafe for the people.

 Recently a passenger was injured after a piece of concrete slab fell on her head at the bus stand.

Despite repeated reminders, no action has been initiated. Gaonkar said they have contacted the Chief Minister’s office and the issue has been bought up before concerned officials. 

The primary government school in Bicholim is in bad shape students still come.

A tender was floated five times to renovate the school but nothing happened. Now the government has floated a tender for the sixth time.
