Big push for sustainable pharma-industry, UNIO-MSME ministry organize workshop || ENGLISH || GOA365

With the UN chief terming the current era as ‘global boiling’, countries across the world have been asked to step up their green efforts. In Goa, under the partnership of the MSME ministry and United Nations Industrial Organization, a workshop was organized on ways to adopt energy-efficient and eco-friendly practices in pharmaceutical industries across the state.

With global warming in the rear-view mirror and global boiling on the horizon, the UN has urged countries to push for better and faster green energy efforts. The UN’s industrial organization along with the Indian Ministry for MSME has organized a 2-day workshop on ways to adopt eco-friendly techniques and energy-efficient methods in pharmaceutical industrial operations.

Minister for Environment and industries, Nilesh Cabral said changes in climate are affecting our State, country and the world. Speaking of the workshop, Mauvin added that such initiatives are a necessary push towards attaining net 0 emissions
