Mapusa municipal special meet: 4 health sub-centres, Bodgeshwar Jatra discussed

The special Mapusa municipal council meeting held today discussed setting up of 4 health sub-centrewithin its jurisdiction. The other highlight of the meeting was the planning of the BodgeshwarJatra.

 The council was also briefed about the Mapusa market renovation plan. Here are the details of the meeting.

The Mapusa municipal council is planning to build4 health sub-centre in it's municipal jurisdiction covering about 100 sqmtrs,

costing about 25 lakhs rupees each. The council will spend funds from 15th finance commission for this project.

The council also discussed the preparation of the BodgeshwarJatra scheduled to be held on 5th January. Allotment of shops and fixing of soporates were also dsicussed.

The MMC has also made plans to make jatragarbage-free. Another important topic discussed was the parking arrangements for the Jatra which sees massive chaos ensue every year. Chairperson ShubhangiVaigankar gave details.
