Social worker & PTA come forward to renovate Govt school

When government fails to perform its duty, citizens come forward to help.



Social worker and Serafin Cota from Salcete has come forward to help the primary students of a remote tribal village in Quepem taluka.


Providing a water pump to pull out drinking water for the kids.


 A Goverment primary school at Morpirla in Quepem has been lying in a neglected condition for several years now.


All the requests made to the authorities have gone on deaf ears.


Finally, the local PTA came forward to renovate the school.


And when Goa365 highlighted this news, social worker and a hotelier from Karmane in Salcete, Serafin Cota came forward to donate a water pump and pipes to pull out water from the well.


The handing over function was held on Sunday at the school in the presence of Opposition Leader and local Congress MLA Babu Kavalekar.
