Power Minister Sudin Dhavlikar announces plans to go ahead with installation of smart meters

he stated that pre-paid electricity cards would also be made available, that could be used on a temporary basis. Dhavalikar also warned consumers against tampering of electricity meters for ill-gotten gains.

The Power minister also requested consumers to avail the one time settlement scheme as soon as possible, as it could be discontinued post the upcoming Assembly session.
