KARAPUR-SARVAN GRAM SABHA: Just 5 P’yat Body Members Present, Residents Dissatisfied

The recent Karapur-Sarvan gram sabha concluded with only five out of eleven members of the panchayat body present, much to the dismay of the attendees. The absence of a quorum and the lack of important issues being discussed left many residents dissatisfied.

One of the few issues that were discussed was the development of plots in Karapur’sKodal area. The low turnout at the gram sabha has caused concern among the residents, as it undermined the very purpose of these gatherings, which is to encourage community participation and deliberation on local issues.
