The National Unity Day or RashtriyaEktaDiwas is celebrated every year on October 31st to commemorate the birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister, SardarVallabhbhai Patel.
This year will mark the 147th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India. Goa too, will join in the celebrations with 8 days of events at the government level. The theme this year is Corruption Free Goa Developed Goa. Govt officials have taken an oath to provide a corruption-free administration.
