BJP says govt has done a lot for OBCs

BJP is out on damage control mode after Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Admi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal met leaders of Bhandari Samaj. BJP’s Bhandari Samaj MLAs Dayanand Sopte and Milind Naik reacted saying their government had not only served Bhandari Samaj but also the Bhaujan Samaj an umbrella organization of the OBCs.

Sopte said Bhandari Samaj President Ashok Naik’s statement that Kejrival was first Chief Minister to visit Bhandari Samaj office is wrong. He said that many Bhandari Samaj Chief Ministers like Goa’s first Chief Minister MGPs Dayanand Bandodkar and Congress’s Ravi Naik also contributed to the upliftment of the community. BJP government is working for the aam admi he said. Prime Minister is also from the OBC, he said.
