Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane has warned that hotels along coastal belts of North and South Goa would be shut if they do not have FDA licenses.

It does not matter whether it is a shack or a five star, in the absence of FDA license, they would be sealed, warned Vishwajit.

He also warned of taking action against foreigners involved in restaurants.

Rane said government is being accused for turning coastal belt into a drugs paradise.

He said that days of foreigners doing illegal business is over and people should not take FDA for granted.

FDA officers would go on field with police protection .

Rane said government is not only thinking about fish traders but also small fishermen.

Though the decision taken by government on banning fish won’t changed, they would look into the matter.
