We are trying to resolve man-animal conflict: forest officials

Forest officials said that man and animal conflict are very much a part of Goa given the close proximity of human habitation and forests. However, the government was doing all it could to mitigate the situation including speed and size of compensation as well as improving food and water for animals.

A workshop for media was held on Wild Life and challenges faced by the Forest Department on Gaur Conservation.  This was part of the central programme that is targetting 75 zoos from all over the country.
