Rachol most dispaired village of India

But now it is creating a new history.

According to central government team, Rachol is the most despaired village of India, from among the 42 villages chosen under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.

The team visited Rachol village this week

Rachol is among six villages of Goa adopted under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna by late Rajya Sabha MP Shantaram Naik.

The project evaluation team expressed shock after they found out anganwadi and health centre were operating in rented premises. See what they are saying.

Team members of Savtribai Phule University of Pune had come down to Rachol for project evaluation.

But they were totally disappointed.

Because the panchayat and other departments didn’t do any study for the village development.

Panchayat claimed that they got late intimation from deputy collector and didn’t get time.

The meeting was also attended by very few government officials.
