NGOs point out faults, lapses in Vasco fire mock drill

A mock drill was held at Mormugao’s Municipal market today morning as a precautionary check on fire hydrants and rescue systems. The drills come after several fires were reported around the state.

The drill however was full of glitches and lapses, brought to light by several NGOs and locals present at the market. They alleged that no chief officers were present. The collector will be asked to repeat this mock drill, they asserted.
