Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the second Mann Ki Baat of 2023 today. He listed multiple topics ranging from cultural competitions to revival of ancient traditional festivals to the modernization of facilities like access to doctors in the most remote regions of India.

The program is held on the last Sunday of every month wherein PM Modi connects with the entire nation

In its 98th episode of “Mann Ki Baat” on the occasion of ‘Ekta Diwas’, competitions were held on patriotic songs, lullabies and rangoli. Around 5 lakh people participated and amongst them, Gurudutt Vantekar from Goa won the third place for making the portrait of Gandhi in the rangoli competition.

The PM also praised the e-Sanjeevani app for its part in enabling online medical consultation, which is proof of India’s digital transformation. Over 10 crore people have already benefitted from the app, making it a vital source for people living in the rural regions, the prime minister further added.

According to Goa’s Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, a monthly program called “Goa Ki Baat” will be launched by the state government to promote different programs, similar to the PM’s “Mann Ki Baat.” Each show will air on the third Saturday of each month and will feature a state minister discussing the plans of his/her department.
