Avoid mass gatherings, advises Centre as state braces to tackle Corona Virus

he Centre has issued guidelines that mass gatherings are to be avoided, the Health Minster Vishwajit Rane said on Friday after a video conference with all health ministers from across the country. Goa is in the middle of tourist and festival season with Shigmo around the corner.



Thankfully Goa still does not have a confirmed case of the Corona Virus. However, the country already has 31 and in Goa there are currently 20 passengers under observation.

Four patients were admitted in the isolation ward at the GMC out of which 2 have already been discharged.  However, India has banned travel from places like Italy, Japan, Iran and Korea, while Indians are being banned from entering Kuwait as of now,The Dean and the health director gave details of the symptoms

The Dean said that all precautions have been taken to ensure that relatives of elderly patients and mother whose children are in isolation wards are allowed to visit and not get infected.
