GOVT WIPED OUT OBC QUOTA: GF

Goa Forward Supremo Vijai Sardesai has slammed BJP government on OBC reservation for panchayat elections. The government always talks on giving more political acknowledgement to the OBC faction, has done grievous injustice to them by ignoring their reservation quota, Vijai alleged.

 This time the panchayat elections are going to be held without the reservations for OBC. The decision was challenged in the High Court but the plea was dismissed. However,

Vijai reacted sharply to this. He said Goa Forward had demanded a special quota for the Bhandari community within the OBC quota. But instead the government removed the entire OBC quota. Vijai also asked people to boycott the election if they are unhappy with the candidate.
