Goa Board SSC exams canceled, internal marks to decide

The Goa Boards SSC exams have been canceled for this academic year, the Chief Minister, who is also the education minister announced on Sunday. The students will be promoted based on their internal marks.

The exams for 10th standard were postponed last month after the covid-19 cases surged. However, 10th passed students who want to join science stream  or do a diploma will have to undergo an objective test, Dr Pramod Sawant said. Earlier, there was demand from students as well as parents to conduct SSC exams online due to rising covid situation. 

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant also said a decision regarding 12th standards exams will be taken after convening meeting with Goa Board. Also the NEET, JEE exams.
