Expert committee recommends 1-8th std restart

The covid expert committee has decided to recommend that students from class 1st to 8th be allowed to join physical classs. However, the final decision would taken by the task force. Later, the government would decide, expert committee member Dr. Shekhar Salkar said after their meeting.

Dr Salkar said that no COVID cases  have been reported in children for the last 3 months, saying that 70% of the children have already suffered from COVID. Dr. Salkar also said that parents wanted classes from the 1st standard to resume.

Student can opt for classes in physical form or attend classes online. Online would lead to pressure on education institutes, Salkar opined.
