Disallowing statue resolutions deliberate insult to Jack Sequeira: Cong

AICC secretary Girish Chodankar said that not allowing the tabling was a deliberate attempt to insult Father of the Opinion Poll Jack Sequeira.

The issue of putting up the statue of Jack Sequeira at the assembly complex has generated a lot of controversy.

There is support as well as opposition to the proposal.

The statue of Bahusaheb Bandodkar who was the chief minister and headed the Maharastrawadi Gomantak Party during the Opinion Poll has already been installed at the Assembly complex.
