Ore transportation restarts from Codli

Ore transportation has finally resumed from Vedanta’s Codli mines on Saturday. The transportation resumed on the Codli to Capxem and Codli to Amona route.
The transportation had stopped on November 13 following an agitation and sporadic instances of violence.
The truckers were agitating for better per km per tonne rate as well as diesel.
Finally there was a breakthrough and under the final conditions - 52 rupees diesel and 12 rupees per km per tonne for ore transportation a deal was struck.
