PMO seeks report on mining from Parrikar

Chief minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday said that the Prime Minister’s office had contacted him soon after the Apex Court order on Goa mining.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Tour at that time.

They wanted to know what would be the impact on the state economy, and had asked him to submit a report and if needed, meet the Prime Minister.
