Traffic woes were once unheard of in Goa, but with the state’s infrastructure boom and surging vehicle numbers, congestion has become routine.
Paradoxically, work on the much-awaited Porvorim flyover, aimed at easing traffic on the Panjim-Mapusa stretch, has turned Guirim into a gridlock nightmare due to diversions. Here our reporter Nitiksha Gaonkar with more on this.
