Freedom of speech is total freedom or not freedom at all.

Freedom does not mean saying what the other person likes, but what you feel.

This is the message what Novelist, Playright, Theatre personality, Architect Makarand Sathe had to say at the inaugural of the DD Kosambe festival of ideas.

Sathe, also a the theatre historian also spoke about nationalism, jingoism quoting Rabindranath Tagore and Karl Marx and juxtaposing their quotes written so long back to the situation prevailing in India and many parts of the world.

DD Kosambe Festival of ideas is in memory of DD Kosambe a historian, mathematician and acknowledged polymath.
