Chatrapati Shivaji memorial fort wall collapses

A portion of the outer wall of the memorial fort of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Farmagudi has collapsed with stones and mud spilling onto the road. Even before that the fort was in bad shape.

Locals said that no maintenance of the fort was done. And the only time anything was done was during Shiv Jayanthi. Locals have even come up with a suggestion that the fort be reconstructed.
