SC acted dictatorial in passing order on liquor sale ban, alleges Goa Forward

Goa Forward President Prabhakar Timble said the order is against the Law as well as the Constitution of India.

Claiming that the order was not backed by any law.

Timble, also a former State Election Commissioner, said that there was no law to back the ban and the order was framed on the recommendations of the National Road Safety Council and based on data and statistics. Mohandas Lolienkar, party general secretary, said that a review petition had to be filed by the state government against the order.
