Savio Almeida elected Sarpanch of Anjuna Caisuva Panchayat

The elections for the post of Sarpanch and the deputy were held on Monday.  

The earlier meeting for election of sarpanch and the deputy which was convened on 8^th of July was adjourned by the Presiding Officer by considering request of the group of 4 panchas who were in minority.

This meeting was convened back on Monday.

The group of 7 panchas remained together. Pratima Govekar was elected as the deputy sarpanch.
