Panchayats near Airport will get more funds now: Mauvin

Birds come to areas where garbage is thrown and cleanliness of villages surrounding the airport become imperative.

Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho said that other economically weaker panchayats all over the state would also get more funds from the department due to revised policies and keeping garbage management in mind.

He said that many panchayats have been identified on basis of their needs and other criteria.
