NIT project delayed despite govt possessing land : UGDP president

He said the attempts to save private land from the project has led to the delay of the NIT project.

He said the government has got vast tracts of acquired land lying unused. This acquired but unused land could have been considered for the NIT project.

 He said the NIT could have seen the light of day at least three years back had the land where the Defence Expo is held in Naqeri near Betul was considered.
