Modi plays 'comfortable' tune

You give us comfortable majority and we will make Goa India’s most comfortable state. That is the promise Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave at the election rally held in Panaji on Saturday.

It was a normal crowd at Campal which the BJP usually draws. But the crowd was not responding enough to the slogans the leaders were giving. Finally, defence minister Manohar Parrikar had to come on the dais to cheer the crowd.

But the same crowd rose up enthusiastically when Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived. He was greeted by union minister Nitin Gadkari, Chief Miniser Laxmikant Parsekar and other state leaders
