Make Konkani, 15-year domicile mandatory for IIT jobs: Reginald

Curtorim MLA Alexio Reginaldo Lourenco gives the government an 8-day ultimatum to withdraw the advertisement for vacancies in the Indian Institute of Technology.
He wants Konkani or Marathi language and 15 years domicile made mandatory for jobs in the Institute.
He has threatened to confront the chief of the IIT if his demand is not fulfilled.
Alexio’s demand comes in the wake of an advertisement published in a local newspaper for jobs in the IIT to be set up in Goa.
The advertisement does not indicate that Konkani or Marathi language and 15 years domicile are mandatory for the applicants.
