Main 3 candidates of Vasco claim they will win

Goa365 decided to feel the pulse of the candidates in Vasco.

Not surprisingly, each of the three main contenders for the Vasco assembly seat is confident of victory. 

While  current MLA Carlos Almeida avers that he had won in last election without doing any developmental work, he says the work he has done over the past five years will ensure his victory.

Former MLA Jose Philip D’Souza says in 2012 the wave was in favour of the BJP. He says  this time there is an anti-incumbency factor that will ensure his victory. 

Independent candidate Krishna  Salkar however says that voters’ desire for change and his work over the past several years will help him win the seat.
