Goa Govt appoints KPMG as consultant to review 27 IPB Projects

The Manohar Parrikar government has finally decided to review total 27 projects which came up before the Investment Promotion Board.



It also includes 12 projects earlier approved during Laxmikant Parsekar regime. KPMG has been appointed as satellite consultant to review these projects.

IPB had its second meeting on Thursday, chaired by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.

The meeting did not approve any project, but decided to review the projects come up before IPB.

The would give more detailed analyses of these projects. 30 projects, however, have already started its work to start its operations. 

The list of projects to be reviewed also includes 4 projects of 13th meeting and 8 of 14th meeting, approved by the IPB under the chairmanship of former BJP chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar.

He did not name a single project among them.
