Bharatiya Janata Party’s central leader Nitin Gadkari has hinted at getting Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar back as Goa’s chief minister

He has not taken Parrikar’s name, but he has said BJP will get a CENTRAL LEADER as the CM if there is no consensus among elected BJP legislators after election.

Union minister Gadkari is fully confident of the BJP coming back to power in Goa. He guided the BJP candidates on Thursday morning. He also had a closed door meeting with Speaker Anant Shet, whose candidature is still not being announced. He said the remaining seats would be announced in next two to three days.

Nitin Gadkari is known to be a close friend of MGP leader Sudin Dhawalikar. He says he was not able to get in touch with Dhawalikar, but said the MGP could still come to talk to the BJP for continuing the alliance after election.
