EC puts restrictions on candidates using religious platforms for vote

The election commission has now come down on using religious platforms to promote any candidate contesting election
Additional Chief Electoral Officer Narayan Navti has said any such attempt would be accounted in the expenditure of the candidate
Navti also said that candidates however candidates could use the campus ofeducational institutions for the meetings, provided the management approves it.
