Congress party terms Vijai Sardesai as BJP spokesperson

Congress spokesperson Swati Kerkar also called Town and Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardesai, the spokesman of the BJP on the issue of banning beef in Goa.

Swati said she had met the Sonshi villagers who were arrested and jailed at Colvale Central jail on Monday evening.

Congress spokesperson Anivash Tavares said that Vijay Sardessai and the BJP Government is trying to confuse the Goans and mislead them.

Congress wants to hear Parrikars speaking on the Beef issue, instead of other coalition ministers speaking over the same.

The issue of banning beef on its own was  put forward by the right wing outfit Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Sunday.
