Cong vitiating political atmosphere, attacking govt as corruption avenues blocked: CM

The Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar tore into Congress leader Girish Chodankar for his statements made about the Bharatiya Janata Party and its treatment of its Bahujan Samaj cadres including leaders on Friday.



He accused him of trying to give a different colour to the narrative of the politics in the state.

The chief minister was reacting to the argument of the AICC secretary Chodankar who had accused the ruling BJP of handing out step-motherly treatment to Bahujan Samaj leaders and party workers in appointments at all levels of government. Girish had said that BJP workers and leaders belonging to the Bahujan

Girish had said that BJP workers and leaders belonging to the Bahujan Samaj themselves had complained to him that this was happening in the party.  

The chief minister was speaking at the inauguration of a sewerage plant at Vasco.

Parrikar also criticized the Congress party for its record on governance and corruption accusing their leaders of wholesale looting to fill their pockets.
