Cong still uncertain over seat sharing with GF or UGP

Party’s national leader Digvijay Singh still says that they will have seat adjustments with some parties, but does not disclose which parties. Also Goa Forward or only United Goans.

On the other hand, Congress workers of Fatorda assembled at Congress House in Panaji on Monday and burnt the effigy of Digivijay Singh while he was sitting in the office. They are upset that Congress has not declared candidature of Block President Joseph Silva.

Digvijay Singh has already ruled out alliance with the Nationalist Congress Party. The party has also declared three nominees of Babush Monseratte as the Congress candidates. But Singh was still non-committal till Monday evening on Babush’s United Goans or Vijai Sardesai’s Goa Forward. He now talks of seat adjustment, not alliance, that too without mentioning the parties

The Congress is planning to releaseits manifesto on 23^rd of January. And there is a plan of national leaders coming down to Goa, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
