Cong releases chargesheet against BJP with 26 alleges scams

On the last day of the election campaign, Congress has released a chargesheet against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party



Party’s central leader listed total 26 alleged scams of ministers, MLAs and ex-MLA. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said the Congress has come too late on the chargesheet.

Congress national general secretary Digvijay Singh named Parrikar, chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar, his seven ministerial colleagues, two MLAs and ex-MLA Damu Naik in the alleged scams.

He also said the priority of the Congress, once it comes to power, to act uponTenancy Act, Regional Plan, Casinos and reviewing the Investment Promotion Board. 

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar simply brushed aside the chargesheet saying that it’s too late.
