Congress has objected to some senior governments being retained in Goa in spite of getting transferred outside the state

AICC secretary Girish Chodankar said the party would approach the Election Commission in this regard.

Chodankar felt that Election Commission should have taken suomotto action regarding these transfers because these officers are still not relieved by the BJP government. He alleges that the BJP wants to use these officers for electoral gains.

Chodankar also thanked the BJP for endorsing the Congress view on the medium of instruction issue. The BJP had earlier said that the election would be a referendum on the stand the ruling party has taken on the MoI issue to continue grants to English medium private primary schools.

Mean while the government had brought back NilaMohananas the North Goa Collector. She was earlier transferred as the Education and Civil Aviation Secretary.
