Campaign ends, complaints of assaults take the centrestage

Candidates have started complaining of assaults.

One such incident of car burning took place in Shiroda while Congress candidate of Fatorda has complained of physical assault. 

Fatorda Congress Candidate Joseph Silva has alleged that he was assaulted by some Goa Forward supporters while he was on the last round of campaigning on Thursday.

A police complaint has been registered at Madgao Police station.

Meanwhile vehicle of Independent candidate in Shiroda Diya Shetkar was burnt in Ponda on Wednesday evening.

She was later admitted to hospital as she complained of uneasiness.

A non cognizable offence has been registered against Abhay Prabhu, Subhash Tari and Prasad Prabhugaonkar.
