BJP connived with British during freedom struggle: Shantaram

The Congress charged that the Bharatiya Janata Party had always connived with the British during the independence movement.



And that the BJP government in Goa was illegal as well as that the chief minister Manohar Parrikar was a trespasser in the chief minister’s chair.

The Congress and the BJP are locked in a tussle for the Panji and Valpoi seats. Both these constituencies are set to go to the polls on August 23.

After the committee meeting on Wednesday, the Goa Congress chief Shantaram Naik tore into the BJP in general and the chief minister Manohar Parrikar in particular.
