BJP coalition’s CMP & Policy in Governor’s Address on 23 March

The BJP-led coalition government of Manohar Parrikar has decided to spell out a broad outline of the Common Minimum Programme as well as the policies of his government through Governor’ Address on 23rd of March.



The first cabinet meeting held on Friday has finalized these policies.

The Common Minimum Programme is the demand made by the alliance partners of the BJP, especially Goa Forward and the independents.

He also assured that the coalition would last its full term of five years. 

The Cabinet also decided to appoint Dattaprasad Lawande as the new advocate general, in view of existing AG Saresh Lotlikar submitting his resignation.

Parrikar also said the government would remain committed to protect Mhadei river water from getting diverted.
