Zuari Agrochemicals comes to Sankhwal farmer’ rescue

After 15 years, around 70 farmers from Sindolim in Sankhvall village will again start cultivating their fields from this month end.

The Sankhvall village Panchayat, in association with Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd, has started de-silting the blocked nullahs.

They have also started removing garbage and weeds from the fields.

VO The affected famers approached Sarpanch Ramakant Borkar and briefed him about the hardships faced by them in cultivating their fields.

Borkar approached Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd for help and the company agreed to take up the work under their Gain initiative.
