People protest betrayal of people’s mandate

Hundreds of people gathered at the NIO circle to protest against the forming of the government in an unethical manner.

They called it betrayal of the people’s mandate. People were invited for the protest by sending messages through social media platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp.

These activists gathered near the NIO circle spontaneously after the message of this protest march went viral on social media.

Some of them reached late because of discrepancies in times mentioned in these messages.

They held placards and shouted slogans against the BJP, Goa Forward MLA Vijai Sardesai and independent MLA Rohan Khaunte.

These protestors claimed betrayal by the MLAs who had won against the BJP and later joined hands with them.
