Mickky files application for release of documents seized by CBI

Former tourism minister Mickky Pacheco has filed an application in the Margao Sessions Court asking for copies of his documents seized by the Central Bureau of Investigation.



 The CBI had seized Mickky’s  hard disks and laptops besides other items seven years back  in the money laundering case.

  The application  was filed earlier this week and the hearing will come up on the 4th of this month.

The CBI had filed the case against Mickky around 7 years back. Now,  Mickky wants to appeal against the orders given by the Income Tax Department.Hence the application for release of documents.

 Byron said the application is not for the release of vehicles. The vehicles had been seized by Income Tax department  for not paying the  charges applicable.
