Lucky 7 still grounded as deadline approaches

The 27 September deadline for removal of the still unlucky Lucky 7 is fast approaching.

But there seems to be no discernable or substantial progress in the removal of the vessel grounded for the past two months. The only progress seems to be in the deterioration of the Miramar beach.

The only progress seems to be in the deterioration of the Miramar beach.

The Tugboats are on standby. Even at night the lights of the tug shines bright.

And it is stationed almost at attention a short distance away from the stricken Lucky 7owned by the Kanda’s. But if there is some move to get extra relief from the authorities or the court or some major efforts on to remove the vessel are not in the public domain.

On Miramar beach and in the city  life goes on.

People on the beach are taking selfies and the authorities are adopting a wait and watch attitude. On Saturday Tourists asked Goa 365 why this was not being removed.

Or why no action was being seen to be taken remove it.

We had no answers as we were not given any.

One of the Kanda brothers was on the beach and so are the bouncers.

Nothing else has changed very much.
