Goa suraksha manch supports nationalization of goan rivers.

They have in fact said nationalization of rivers is the need of hour in Goa currently.

Senior BBSM leader Arvind Bhatikar also clarified that Nationalization does not mean the rights over rivers within state are handed over to the centre.

The Goa Suraksha Manch announced its 8 point action plan on Friday.

It also included policy of inclusion of 6 Goan rivers in the National waterways.

Goa Suraksha Manch which is otherwise very critical of the BJP government has supported this move by the government.

Arvind Bhatikar and Adv. Uday Bhembre clarified the stand of the party.
