FDA raids, closes food outlets in Mapusa

Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration closed down a restaurant in Mapusa on Wednesday for operating under unhygienic condition.



Hotel  Aflatoon near Alankar theatre was earlier warned for operating under unhygienic condition without FSSAI  licence.

Three  temporary  stalls were also  found operating outside kiosks under unhygienic conditions without FSSAI  registration.

The temporary  units were closed and cleared with the help of  the municipality team. 

Senior  food safety officer Rajiv Korde , designated officer Richard Noronha, food safety officers  Madhav Kavlekar,  Sujata Shetgaokar,  Sudhakar Parsekar and Arjun Naik took part in the raids
