Cow holy to Goans, Slaughter Ban exists since 1978: Luizino

The utterances of Vishwa Hindu Parishad saying that they are capable of enforcing the beef ban in Goa on their own has drawn a strong reaction from both government as well as opposition quarters.

On Sunday VHP leader Radhakrishan  Manori had said that they did not need the help of the government to enforce the ban on cow slaughter or a beef ban in the state. Cow slaughter has been banned in Goa by law since 1978.
